Some CT people may have fallen off with all the recent shows outside of the state. I will work with the northern and southern TL's to have shows in central locations. We seemed to have a good response in the Rocky Hill/Berlin Turnpike area.

 

I am in for either day as long as it is in CT.

 

Official date will be Sunday, October 19th, and it will be a Connecticut cruise

I will get busy mapping out the route!

I'll post with the meeting location on here and time within the next couple days.

I'll also work on the route, and print out copies of directions / checkpoints just in case people get lost, etc. etc. Just the standard pre-cruise/run stuff

Don't worry everyone, the meet time won't be insanely early, as the cruise will not take nearly as long as a Mountain Run would!

Just out of curiosity, would it be dumb to end the cruise at Mohegan Sun? We could park at the top of one of the garages and have an impromptu "after cruise" meet, and then go in for some food and call it a day? Or should I aim to end the cruise in the Hartford area? My initial idea was to start it in the Hartford area, and end it in the Hartford area for easy access to major highways. I just want to make sure it's convenient for everyone to hop on the highway easily to get home. Mohegan would be further for Zmazing and G35_888, for example, so either you guys, or anyone coming from afar, chime in as to how you want me to work it.

 

Mohegan is about an hour for me, almost two for G35_888. Hartford is about 45 mins, and about 1.5 hrs for G35_888. I am down for either. Ending at Mohegan would be good though as we could get some food, then head out.

I pretty much just chose between one of the two dates last night. I figured I should have a solid date set about a week before, so people could somewhat plan ahead.

I hope no one else cancels. Sorry Firinn, but I thought Sunday would be a more do-able day for people. I'd rather do it Saturday, personally. About 12-13 people (last time I checked) voted for a location, but only a few have responded about a date. So I had to guess.

I am one of the few people who is always tied up on Sunday mornings.
I am managing to sneak out this sunday for the mountain run, so can't do another sunday for a while.

If anyone's wondering where we'll meet so they can plan a general time to leave, just allow enough time to get to Hartford.

I'm thinking Starbucks on the Silas Dean near the Rocky Hill Wethersfield border would be a good spot since it's right off 91 and people can get coffee if they'd like. If I get 2 people to protest 'bucks coffee, then i'll find a D&D we can meet at instead
