Shop warning
I've recently dealt with a shop called "Main" in Main street Fort Lee, near the fire house.
I dropped off my OEM wheels there to get tires dismounted and when I came back the front wheels were damaged pretty badly.
I asked the guy I dealt with what he was gonna do about it, but he tells me that it's not his fault and that he didn't even touch the wheels.
He tells me the wheel was never placed on the machine to dismount and was only deflated. I was baffled at his response and told him how could a wheel get damaged by itself? I brought in the wheel in good condition, I come back it's damaged, somehow that's not the shops fault?
We argued for a bit, then I went back home. About 30 minutes later I called him back to inform him I was planning on going to hackensack to file a claim in court, and immediately he asks me for my VIN number and says he'll get it replaced.
Turns out he ordered the wrong wheel somehow and ended up paying me cash.

i wouldnt necessarily agree with the above comment. there are plenty of reputable shops in the area, you just happened to go to one with a gas station in it (Gulf, right?). anyway, if you need to go to good shop, go to the one on lemoine ave, near the mcdonalds, behind the sunoco station. forgot the name, but they usually deal with european cars. ask for lou, they know what they are doing. to get 4 tires off, mount and balance new tires, cost me $80.

Thanks for the shop info
