Hey guys, so im looking at all these posts but im still alittle unsure about something. Are you all absolutely sure that MA law bans all aftermarket exhausts? or will it be legal as long as it falls below 95db? I've pretty much been getting a whole lot of mixed responses from people that ive asked. Thanks!

State Trooper told me the 95db thing. The internet tells me anything that is louder then stock is illegal. There are a lot of Z's and G's around here with obnoxious exhausts and are not bothered by police. I really wouldn't worry about it.

When you boil it down, there are laws on the books about aftermarket exhausts. It's really subjective to the cop and up to his discretion. If the cop sees you being an ***, reving, or wants to pull you over he can so. Its usually a "fix-it ticket". More than likely if you are obeying traffic laws and driving like a normal person you should be fine, unless you are like theusualsuspect who is wanting to remove his muffler with a turbo setup .
