Default NYC parking tickets

How many parking tickets are you allowed to get in one day? I got one at 12:17pm then again at 6:46pm on the SAME day in NYC. Does anyone know the law regarding this?

any way you can check for sure? I assume they can do it...just trying to get one dropped with my 'hearing by mail'

I know the place is set up to rape motorists, they crucify the delivery guys there too from what I understand

One way to stop it is to park where you are supposed to

I received 2 tickets before within 20 minutes apart for alternate siding. I saw the ticket on my windshield then took it inside to grab my keys and move the car, upon my return had another. I wrote a letter to dispute the nonsense and all they did was send me a coupon with 50 percent off the second ticket lol. IMO don’t even waste your time, pay the tickets and just triple check where you park next time. NYC parking is ridiculous!!!

alright here is my version. i parked 'supposedly' too close to a hydrant. received ticket once at 11:45am and then another at 4:55pm. questioned a traffic cop outside about the multiple tickets, and was explained about the 4 hour span rule. whether he was ********ttin me or not, i dont know. i ended up paying for it. i have alot of experience with parking tickets, as long as you send out the ticket as 'not guilty' or appear in your local dmv hearing location, theyll lower your penalty by default so it doesnt go decisioning by a judge or an arbitrator. just what i used to do when i gave up on fight thing tickets, just pay, but less.

If I find parking in a crowded area of the city, I find myself triple checking the signs, walking away, and then checking it just once more. Ugh.

Oh, well. I've vowed to not visit the city often anymore, anyways. Too many f*cking weirdos have appeared lately. It's seriously turning into sh*t again.
