Default For NY people..

I recently took off my insurance a year ago, and when i went to put back my insurance on the car every insurance agent wanted to charge me 400+ on my policy for full coverage. I stuck with Liability for like a month for 250 and i wanted full coverage to be safe. This guy name Richard D'Arpa contacted me and gave me a quote for 325, thinking that wasnt bad i gave the guy a call and he played around with the quote and got it down to 290 then when i met with him he played around some more and got it down to 215 for full coverage. I'm just letting you guys know this guy saves people a lot of money he'll work with you to get the lowest possible quote.

If you guys want to contact him

That's pretty good.. i just got insurance on my Z. my jaw dropped when they told me waht i would be paying. I was thinking it would be around $300 or more. Ill jsut say that is a decent amount less then what your paying. And people say progressive sucks lol.

I'm paying $128 a month, full coverage, but its under my parents policy. I'm only 23 still living home, so it pays to keep it under their name, till i'm 25. I think my deductible is $500, its with Allstate.

$126 with full coverage and a $250 deductible. Progressive, but was with Geico before and they were also very reasonable.

All of you guys, how old are you? And are these policies under your or your parents names? Because I'll be honest, my car is insured on my dad's policy and I have to pay $1150 every 6 months. I'll be 25 next year, so hopefully by then I'll get some decent quotes for my own coverage. Because I simply cannot justify paying $3000 every six month policy term, that is f*cking ludicrous.

It's really annoying not having the insurance on my name. I just want to call insurance companies up and tell them to stop being morons and give me an f-ing normal rate based on looking at my driver's license. How "25" is some sort of magical number is beyond me, I swear. My license is as clean as a whistle and so is my driving record, in general (knock on wood).
