Our cars normally start at $175 cuz ours do that automatic thing when you open and close the doors make it a real pain, I highly reccomend at least high performence film ($200) Lifetime guarantee against fading (turnin purple). Standard (175) will fade eventually, means no guarantee. Then there is Infinity film ($225) its our heat-blocking film, blocks 99% of heat caused by UV, also won't fade, also has kinda reflective appearance, Hi-Pro has more charcoal, Std has black-purple. We also have colored, mirror and mirror fade films for ($225). I work somedays in the afternoon during the week and then all day Sundays. If you see a blue Z, its me (hey that rhymes), if not tell em Andy sent ya, and they should give you a discount. Hope to you guys there.
P.S. All prices I listed above are before discount.

Hey I've also been looking for a place to get my windows tinted too. Do you happen to have any pics of the Infinity film or Hi-Pro on some cars? (Z preferably ) Sorry if this is a dumb question, but does your tinting also go by degrees? Er how dark the tint is? Or do the different names of your tinting vary in darkness?
Thanks

You can whateva % you want on each film, the different films vary in performence, i.e. heat blocking ability, although the 15% for example looks different between the 3 on Std its black but dyed so most likely will fade (purple look), Hi-Pro more Charcoal black, light reflectiveness, and Infinity appears lighter at same % and appears more reflective but still black. Hope this helps.

Sorry, I'm still kinda confused
Maybe it will be easier this way, hopefully.
What type of tinting should I get, and what % assuming I DONT want it to fade to purple, or any other color, I DO want it as dark and black as possible, heat/UV protection would be good too, but I'm figuring the darker the tint is now, the more protection I get, right?
So what should I go with?
thanks again!

Drew --
As far as tinting, I was thinking of going to LA Tint. Their website has got some decent information.; they seem pretty professional.

My reccomendation based on what u want is what I have on my Z, 15% HP... straight black looking, blocks 78% of UV heat, and lifetime guarantee against fading, it actually can't fade cause there is no dye in it to fade thats why its guaranteed, I pick my car up today after which I will try and post some pics, which Im not very good at so I may need some help. You can go with 5% which is limo tint but I have trouble seeing at night with 15% on unlit roads, and autodimming mirror pretty much useless. Hope that clarified some things up. I know pics will help too.

bobdadd had a guy named Jay on Andrews AFB tint his windows on his BYR 350Z and they look great, he didn't go very dark only 35% but this guy will tint whatever % you want and the best part is any car $100.
I had my Shiro done in 20% and he took off the old purple tint for only $40 more. He makes you come back after 2 days to smooth the rest of it out so it sets up great. Both of our Z's will be at Tysons tomorrow some come and take a look.
