Sad to hear Maybe you could post this outside of the regional section too and more people would see it. I'm sure there are shops with plenty who have ideas about what could be the issue. Good luck

Edit: Nvm, I see you posted in the builds section already, hopefully there will be some good info there

^ Thanks.

Yeah, I'm hoping maybe someone that's had the same noise come out of their car could chime in. You can't really tell by the vid, but it's ridiculously loud!

Obviously my 350Z never breaks down because its stock, but my 300ZX TT never gave me a problem, even at 110k+ miles at 500whp, original motor, trans, etc, and daily driven. I had it for years and the only maintenance I ever had to do aside from regular oil changes was change the clutch once, but that was my fault.
My 300zxTT is around 540whp and never had a problem with it so far--pushing 80k miles. Unlike the 300zxTT, the 350z's were not orginally designed for FI. Cost saving measures (cost is what eventually killed the 40k 300zxTT back in the mid 90's) for the 350z means that the stock blocks can't take as much boost for the same duration without failure. Going FI anyway on my 350z, just haven't decided how much I want to throw into the pit.

Sorry about the OP's engine failure. It always sucks when I hear another FI 350z biting the dust.

This is what I'm hoping won't be the case.
