Default Informal Boston Meet

Since we all have Columbus day off, me and a local Z06 owner decided to throw a little lunch get together in Boston. We show have a good smattering of cars. (Z06, NSX, Supras, Lotus...)

We are meeting in the big parking lot across from the TV station off of Soldiers Field Road (located at the end of Storrow Drive). This is about 1 mile or so from the Cambridge exit from the Pike. Would like to get guys there by 11:00.

Ok directions and itinerary:
Itinerary:
We will be meeting from 11 - 2PM Monday Oct 13th and people will be showing up and leaving anytime during that window. Because folks are coming at different times, please note that there are no plans to go get lunch or anything. However, there are plenty of places to eat nearby, so you can always run and pick up a bite. I plan to hang out till 2 or 3 and then call it a day. Also it is most important to remind everyone to please refrain from any actions that might annoy the locals and/or the police (unnecesary revving, burn outs, etc) since the meet is taking place right across the street from a state police barracks, in a public park where kids come and play, and most importantly I do not have a permit, so anything that draws negative attention could potentially end the day early for all of us. Also, I really don't want the Staties giving us a hard time.

Directions:
From the Mass Pike get off at the Cambridge exit (the number escapes me at the moment) and then make sure you get onto Storrow Drive West/Outbound (away from the city and towards Watertown/Allston). Take Storrow Drive for 1.5 or so till you get to a set of lights, stay left of the merge and DO NOT TURN RIGHT just pass through the lights. You are now on Soldier's Field Road and should see the Harvard football stadium on your left. 50' or so after passing the first lot you will see an entrance on your right to the second lot where we will be meeting (if you pass under an overpass, you have gone to far).

Please note that there may be a slight chance that we may need to switch to a different lot, so if you don't see us in the second lot make sure and check the other lots.

The only building address I could find is for the Pax TV station ri-- 1120 Soldiers Field Road Boston, MA 02134. Additionally, PAX has directions to their building here: http://www.pax.tv/stations/directions.cfm?sti_id=6. Please note this address is on the other side of Soldiers Field Road, but it is still good if you are looking for instructions to get to the vicinity.

Hope to see you guys there!

later,
scott
