I know its getting pretty cold out, but any photographers out there to take some pics of my car? I'm pretty open to driving to meet them someplace. I live in NYC but my gf lives in Albany so I'm familiar with everything in between.

My g/f is professional photographer! We live close to albany. Should meet up and chill sometime. She can discuss it with you. Let her know what kind of shots your looking for and what ideas you have for a shoot.

She does alot of ad work, events, campaign work for the state and race shots on the jet ski tours for me.

 

honestly, my car doesnt have alot of cosmetic mods aside from being lowered and my wheels, I just really want some nice shots of my car. Alot of people hate on my wheels also (online, not in person) and I feel that its partly because I take such horrible shots. Does she do any HDR work?

 

High Digital Resolution

She has access to several camera's. Her personal camera is a new Nikon D90 SLR with various lenses. I am looking to pick up a Macro lens for it. I like to take Pictures of my Reef Aquarium.

She hasn't taken any shots of my car yet. Looking to set something up in the spring or summer. To much going on lately.

The lookout at Thatcher park provides an excellent back drop. I have two pictures I took with a 10 mega pixel camera in my album that came out very well. One is my current avatar. There are several places to park along the cliff.

Another good location would possibly be along the river at the boat launch or park. Or a night time shoot with the city lights.

I may also still have an in at the Albany airport! I'd like to do a photoshoot at the NYSP base at albany airport. My father was Director there until his death. So I maybe able to pull some strings and get shots with the NYSP Hueys and Bell 430's
