Default MA pre-winter drive - any suggestions?

I'd like to try and get some MA Z's together for one more drive before winter hits but want to see who's interested and what date works best.

DRIVING AREAS: Wayland, Weston, Framingham, Natick, Sudbury, etc. Back in September we had a really fun drive up in that neck of the woods so I'd like to do it again.

SUGGESTED DATES: 11/9 or 11/16 (sorry, I know there's a CT meet the day before)

Once I have an idea of who's interested, I'll figure out a meeting spot for all of us and then we'll drive from there.

If you're interested, post it here and send me an email at metalstation@yahoo.com because I don't always get the alerts to post replies.

Let's see if we can get every color this time! We were short a LeMans Sunset last meet.

11/9 would be a good day...my schedule's wide open then. I may also be able to go 11/16, but I'm not 100% sure.

Deb, come on down to CT. As you know, Victor is getting a meet going at XXtuning and then we will go out for lunch. We are also thinking about some pre-planning for next years meet.

Oh, and a cruise is in our plans too.

I'd LOVE to come down on 11/15 but I have to work that afternoon. That's why I tossed out Sunday dates because my Saturdays are pretty much sucked up until the first of the year.

I really wish I could make it, but unfortunately my car won't get back from it's vacation to Vegas (SEMA) and LA until December.

Default Definite possibility

Depending on my project and final paper workload, I should be able to make it.

I'm up for either, I'm sure you wouldn't mind a Z32 joining in?

Could we do a Sunday? I work Saturdays. We could do a nice cruise up Mt. Wachusett, if it's not closed yet. The view's beatiful and we could get some nice pics up there.

Not sure if you noticed, but the Patriots are the Monday night game this week, leaving sunday afternoon wide open...unless you're a fan of someone else.

Mt. Wachusett sounds like a cool idea...there's no snow on the ground, so I'm guessing that the mountain road is probably still open. The route we took through MetroWest last month was awesome, so I wouldn't mind doing that again either....

I have Pats season tix but even when they are not playing I watch the other games. The dates suggested were 11/9 and 11/16.
11/9 is the BYE week so maybe I could do that but I'd much prefer a Saturday.
Anyone heading to the CT xxxtuning day (I might be up for a crusie down there) ? Sorry did not want to hijack Deb's thread.

Sorry...meant to post earlier today. Looks like 11/9 (Sunday) is the only day I'll be able to take part in a drive. My suggestion for the backroads of Wayland, Weston, Lincoln, Sudbury, etc. still stands only because I haven't had time to put together anything else. (Work is slowly consuming all of my spare time.)

Not sure what the weather is going to be like because I haven't seen a forecast that far out yet.

My proposal is to have everyone meet at Prime Parkway in Natick which is located off of Speen Street near Sam's Club:

From Rt. 9 East - take Speen Street exit by Boston Scientific (on right) and take 1st right at light. Take 1st left and go into Cochicuate Place parking lot.

From Rt. 9 West - follow signs that say Mass Pike (on your right is The Christmas Tree Shop, Newbury Comics, etc.) When you exit Rt. 9 it'll put you onto Speen Street. Take 1st right at light. Take 1st left and go into Cochicuate Place parking lot.

From the Mass Pike East and West - after going through the tolls, take the exit on your left (Wellsley, Natick). When you get off the ramp it'll put you on Rt. 30. Take a right at the lights and get into the left lane. Take a left after your 2nd set of lights (Prime Parkway - Sears is on your right). Go straight after light. Take 1st left and go into Cochicuate Place parking lot.

I picked this area because no one's around on a Sunday and when we go to leave we should all be able to get through the light without losing anyone.

Anyone here have the navigation system? That came in handy during our last run. If Matt's able to go, then we won't have to worry.

Let me know who's up for the drive on the 9th and we'll fine tune everything (meeting time, "leader of the pack," etc.)

Cool! I'll put you down on the list.

Now we just have to pray for no rain.

What's a good meet time for everyone? 9:00? 10:00?

I can do either one, but I'd prefer 10 AM.
