For Fall Break, I took a solo 350z road trip (wife had to work) to Pennsylvania to try Tony Luke's 5lb Cheesesteak Challenge and hunt ghosts in Gettysburg. Spent some time in Amish country as well. Enjoy!

That John Denver's full of ****!
Seriously though, thanks for posting this video. It actually made me appreciate all of the nice stuff I have right here in my back yard, as opposed to my normal sentiment of thinking the grass is greener somewhere else.

I'm actually considering moving to this area of PA after I'm finished with school. I think it would be great to have Bird-in-hand/intercourse close by for a weekend excusion to shop at the Farmer's Market. Have gettysburg close by to hold ghost tours during the weekends and summer (job <-- teacher). And if I want a great cheesesteak, I got Philly just a couple of hours away.

You have a beautiful state. I love it how when you leave the state, they have a sign that actually thanks you for visiting. Pretty cool.

I'm more of a suburbanite so I wouldn't fare too well out in the sticks of Lancaster county and points west (like Gettysburg). I live about 35 miles northwest of Philadelphia so I'm in the suburbs, but there is plenty of wide open country if I drive about 15 minutes north and west, yet I can get into Philadelphia in about 30 minutes. Gettysburg is about 1.5 hours west. For a teacher though, I think my area (central / north Chester County) is very competitive due to being a fairly affluent area and therefore teaching salaries are pretty good. But I'd definitely recommend checking it out!
