NY Shop to replace ZR Top?
Hey Everyone,
Looking for a shop that anyone has used or knows of to replace their top in the Queen, LI, Brooklyn area. I checked with the dealership and they only replace the assembly, which was around $4500, that is out of the question. Looking for quotes before I decide to just go ahead and attempt it myself. Thanks

my question is, which warranty package do you have that replaced the top?
i still have like 28,000 miles or 3 years left before my warranty is up.

i have a 7 year 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty i took out on my Z when i bought it and i have two small tears perfectly lined up, my guess is its from something when the top folds down bc i've been having some issues with the top.
my question is, which warranty package do you have that replaced the top?

Someone else on this forum also had the same problem and I told him that Nissan should cover and which they did. This is a common problem. You got nothing to lose bring your dealer to see if cover your if not try different dealership if you want to go Koeppell look for Claudia or Gloria I forgot her name but she was my rep. It take a few weeks to claim with Nissan but you save a few thousand dollar. This is the link to the person that brought his z after I told him that mine was replace by Nissan https://my350z.com/forum/350z-roadst...tible-top.html

Hey man, I just bought an 04 roadster and decided to swap out the oem for a better looking cloth from Auto Tops Direct The top looks much better that the OEM...it cost me around $800 with shipping. I ordered on a Monday and they shipped the same day..got it on Thurs. I'm in Queens and was going to have a&b INTERIORS in Bladwin, Long Island install for $500 but I bit the bullet and installed myself following the amazing tutorial here in the forum. It took about 7 hours to install myself but it came out perfect. If I had to do it again I could prob do it in 3 hours. After a week of stretch all is snug and it looks great.
