Well the snow is starting to melt and I know many are itching to take the Z for a spin. I actually took mine out for a spin yesterday, the weather was pretty nice and I couldn't resist.

Anyways, I know there are plenty of Z's around the northshore. I propose a weekly meet somewhere on Rt. 1 around the Saugus to Peabody area. Nothing serious just a weekly place to come hang out and have a beer or two after work.

My suggestions:
Tues or Thurs night
Hooters in Saugus (nice chicks/parking kinda tight)
The Fat Cactus in Lynnfield (Outdoor seating in summer / plenty of parking)

I posted the same below, but in hindsight, I will put updates at the beginning of the thread so everyone can find it easier.

It looks like we've turned the corner and nice weather is just about here. I noticed that most of the potholes have or are being patched in most areas now. My Z has officially come out of hibernation. I've filled up my first tank and got the oil changed.

I'd like to get some feedback as to when we should kick off our meets. Traffic maybe an issue, so also post times when you can get there. Just to get everyone on one page, the setting for the first meet will be as follows?

Date: TBD (will be on Tues or Thurs)
Time: TBD
Location: Fat Cactus Rt. 1 Lynnfield

 

i might be able to make a few of these. I live on the South shore, and work up in the Billerica area.

 

^ That sounds good. Hopefully more people will chime in as they get cabin fever. I'd like to start meets as soon as we get enough interest.

 

i live closer to RI but wouldnt mind driving up that way for a few beers. thursdays are usually my only day off so it could work.

 

Id make the trek down from NH for a few of these.

 

I live in Dracut. I don't drink tho. but hanging out with fellow Z owners will be fun. I know of a couple of z's in this area that i will get a hold of.

 

Sounds like a good start so far. I hope we can get a good turn out. It'll be that much more fun to have a nice regular showing of Z's.

I think it will be a good time to network with other owners and share stories, tips, shops that are Z friendly and anything else Z related.

same here. so excited for my first full summer with the Z!

 

we'll give it a week or so and see who else chimes in. Then we should start discussing when to start meeting up and pick a location.

Exciting to be a newb and take part of a fresh new meet in it's infancy stage.

 

I may partake for a few as well. I'm really interested in the mountain runs though as long as I can get a good Lidar detector, doh!

 

^ rich, mountain runs sound fun. There are soo many nice drives up north. The meets would be a nice place to get some runs organized.

So in the spring and summer I go to alot of car shows and cruise nights in my area. one cruise night is in methuen at Fuddruckers. as for drives def got to get most of you to go on the kancamagus cruise or the Mohawk drive.
you will see me post alot of info on shows and drives on here so be prepared. oh yeah its my first summer with my Z too.

5:30 ish on rt 1 during rush hour traffic will suck. I am not going to want to battle 93 coming from the South Shore
