Does anyone know if any of these exist North on NYC, around Orange county? It seems ever since I left the Navy and VA I cannot find a dedicated group of car people. I know street racing was huge here when I was growing up, but I am not interested in that in the least.
Cars and coffee are amazing events held once a month where cars/bikes from all walks of life show up and the owners mingle with no pressure and well...enjoy coffee. No burn outs, no loud music. The Virginia Beach/Williamsburg shows gather a large group, here are some pics(not my pics)

I'd really be interested in meeting up with more people with similar interest as me. So if anyone is around Orange County/Hudson Valley. Let me know
Thanks for your time

I think it is very tough to get a decent group of people to meet with all different cars and have no stupid actions occur. There will always be a douche doing a burnout or trying to race, ruining it for everybody else.
^Any of the cars n coffee I've been to its always pretty chill, too early in the morning for the dbags to come out lol, I know they have them @ the Larz Anderson auto museum outside Boston, not sure about NY tho.
There is a car club called "twisted visions" that organizes a lot of meets with big turn outs. Even during week nights or weekend event with raffles and venders. I usually go with about 10 other Z's. There was just an awesome meet right by you over the summer at Orange county choppers! Check out their webpage and facebook page. Hope to see a yellow Z Saturday April 20th !

We have one up here in boston. A lot of exotics and tuner cars show up. It's a good time. Very laid back.
The first one I went to i chatted for an hour or 2 with some crazy Evo guys then chatted with a guy in Vette (I know surprised me too). It's pretty cool because most meets that are just tuner cars I usually just chat with the Z guys.

From the group
All,
We wanted to give all of you advance notice of a special C&C meet on Fathers' Day (Sunday, June 16), which is always our best attended day. The town of Summit, NJ has graciously volunteered to host us on that day. They are promoting our gathering to their residents and businesses, and they look forward to having us meet there. More details to come on the location, but they have set aside over 500 parking spots for us to handle our anticipated strong turnout. Stores will be open, food will be available and they have a great Farmers' Market nearby. Many of us will be staying on for lunch so start making your plans now!
As usual, we will be meeting in the morning -- exact times TBD. We will send out more info as it becomes available, but for now, mark your calendars and plan to bring the family.
