This is not just a car show or swap meet… this is where the fastest and quickest Nissans and Infinitis will meet to determine who takes home the trophy and more importantly the bragging rights in their respective class! You will have your chance to prove who is the baddest on the planet! This is where all the smack talkers on the internet, facebook and twitter meet to dual it out like in the wild wild west. You guys have talk the talk now run the run. This is a no holds bar, no rules, “run what you brung and hope you brung enough” heads up race to the finish with the glory going to the last man standing event in each class! The track will be prepped, the air will be cool and the racing will be heated as some of the biggest names will be here to throw down the 1/4 mile! You will see all the notable shops from around the country at one track, at one event. This is the 1st Annual Nissan/Infiniti Shooutout!

This event is being held at the world famous, world-class track… the birthplace of import drag racing, Atco Raceway. This event is being held on September 22, 2013 when the good air comes to the east coast to make sure we have the best conditions possible for going as fast and as quick as you can. THIS IS WHERE RECORDS WILL BE SET AND RESPECTED! This will be the place to determine who is the baddest motherwatchyourmouth… in the world!

We will have both turbo and non-turbo in all our classes so everyone will get a chance to race.

This will be the second event of its kind and we as the Nissan and Infiniti community want to do things BIGGER than last year!

We have a few tricks up our sleeve for this years event that we will announce as the date gets closer.

Are drag radials allowed in the 12.99 and quicker and 13.00 and slower classes?

 

Interesting.. you have to have a 12 second car to run heads up, any slower and you can only race brackets.

 

I'm a bit confused with the classes. So if you run a 13.3 lets say, you only run with other cars that can run 13.3?

 

If you run a 13.3 you would only be able to compete in bracket racing with cars 13.0 and slower. There could be cars running 16s in that class, but as long as they dial the right time in and stay consistent (read auto) they have a good chance of placing. It doesn't matter who crosses the line first, it matter which car gets closer to his dial in without beating it.

 

According to those classes, if you want to race in heads-up, you have to qualify by running a 12.99

 

ok, that's what I thought. Looks like its time to make some trips to the track and get some consistent times and see which class I wanna compete in lol.

 

I also want to hit up the track before then to see what my numbers look like.

You will be able to run any tire and any power additive in the bracket classes.

We would like to thank everyone who came out and supported the 2nd Annual Nissan Infiniti Shootout presented by Koeppel Nissan yesterday! It was a gorgeous day with a great turnout. A lot of very fast Nissans/Infinitis showed up and represented BIG! We will have the videos and pictures up very shortly, stay tuned and thank you again!
