Just have to embrace the door dings... Signs of being a daily driver

I went through that phase for a little. But I realize its just not that important.

I mean, would I prefer that my car didn't have the dings and that my wrap job was perfect? Sure. But again, its the fact its a daily driver, I do all of the work myself, and Im able to pull all of this off being 21 and a full time student. That little bit of extra pride in having a perfect show car just doesn't matter.

Also, just finished splitter #2. Now to start the second skirt and consider what to do for dinner

And I ordered my material through Fellers.com. Also using Avery SW900.

Both metrorestyling and Fellers seem to have the best prices and variety out there

Thats actually one of the colors my brother wanted me to get as a sample. So I have a swatch of that sitting right here. Heres a couple pics to show you how it actually is in person rather than a computer screen.

That's a lot of changes! none of that was apparent on their site haha, i did see some variances through google images though. I'm trying to go a more "clean" look, so that might work, specially with a tan interior.

Yea they always change when you see them in person. Thats why my brother had me get 20 different samples haha. So let me know if you are considering something else because I have a bunch

Yet another wrap picture. Done for the night. Taking these back to the farm tomorrow and going to start working on a fender or something after my last school final

Overall pretty content with the skirts. Nowhere close to perfect, tons of dimples and scratches because the OEM paint has 90k miles of rock scars

Those came out nicely. You'll like the fenders, easy work after prep. Just make sure the wheelwells are clean enough to eat off of. Edge seal tape is very helpful there.

Side note: Jealous of your finals being over. My last class is Friday and then I'm only done with finals on the 16th

I had Physical Chem final yesterday, Analytical Chem today, and one tomorrow. Then Im free... Tomorrow should be an easy one too.

Yea skirts came out good unless you really start looking into the details and you can definitely see how bad the paint is underneath. Ive been using the edge tape on a ton of stuff just trying to be precautionary.

Only thing I'm not looking forward to from here is taking the antenna off

Oh god PChem was a struggle for me. Quantum mechanics just didn't agree with me.

Antenna isn't too bad to take off as long as you know what you're doing. Just be sure to put down a ton of tape around the area when taking off the "ring" on the exterior base. I didn't and slipped off into my paint

I was thinking of taking my antenna off and just patching the hole...

I have a stubby, but its rather useless because I dont have the power hooked up to it anymore.

I don't use my radio anymore either. I have no fm reception. Like none at all...

But spoiler is officially in the process of being molded.

And I can finally start to imagine what the car will look like when its all finished

I think I get 1 station, I always use Bluetooth and the cell phone...

My brother sent me a text today that his project car (mustang fastback) is ready for paint... Its been at the body shop for like 2 years because apparently they work on it when they are slow and they haven't been slow...

He hasn't decided on a paint color yet, its been a project for the last 10 year's... Good to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
