My brother built a stroked 351 Windsor for his mustang... Its been all put together for about 2 years now and he still hasnt actually started it yet.
Its weird how different and similar our cars are.
He is at 406whp and Im at 438whp. We are both on the same tires, his treadwidth is 295 and mine are 275. His car will roast the tires anywhere in 2nd gear and partially through 3rd. If I put my car in 2nd gear it just hooks up and goes. No traction issues at all unless I'm in 1st.

As far as highway racing goes, my car feels like it has a significantly harder pull than his, yet when we race from 60-120, he will pull me by about 1 foot every time.

I love the fact that our cars are so similar and equal, it makes it extremely fun.

Torque is definitely the reason he beats me. I made 355tq. I don't have his dyno handy but his max tq was basically even with his power. He makes my max tq around 4k RPM

We are both on Vortech setups.

Did they give you a buy one get one free? If I wasnt so cheap I think I would go with a vortech but as much as I would like a high powered car I know I would never use it...

Just today some lady driving in a truck behind me yelled "could you drive any slower a$$hole"

Mine gets driven daily and the power gets used regularly. Colton has witnessed some of the abuse.

Also forgot to add this progress in here yesterday. I added an EZ drain oil plug which is very hard to see through my hacked up belly pan. And mustang progress...

Yeah, tq is pretty awesome. I'm able to beat my buddies r32 gtr making over 400hp cuz I make a pretty decent amount of tq with nitrous. Once his turbo starts spooling and he gets into power, he starts to catch up, but we are going very fast already.

And I didn't pick up that roll bar that was listed on the forum but I did go directly to Kirk and ordered from them. They said lead time is 3-4 weeks but they are about to make another bar for somebody that placed an order for a 350z so they might make mine at the same time.

Either way Im expecting about 4 weeks...

Hey fellas.

I'll be at street night at New England Dragway in Epping New Hampshire this evening hoping to break 12.0. I know a few of you are up in that area. Stop by and race!

Are you planning to run on radials or street tires?

Oh true I didn't see that it was a g35x. I wasn't trying to be a downer but unless it comes out of the hole fast I don't see a 12.0 happening. But with AWD it could happen. Im hoping for you

I'm rear wheel drive 6 Speed greddy TT, but I'm sure that you got that... I'm running Michelin Pilot Super Sport 275s in the rear. 450 Wheel Horse 400 wheel torque but I have the boost set a bit higher now... I really have no idea what I'm going to run...it could be 12.5 it could be 11.5... it could blow up...

All I know is I'm a great power when it's cold and I really don't slip more than 20 feet when I take off. The temps are going to be in the 60s so it should be great. The elevation is only 90 feet above sea level here. Pretty ideal conditions if you ask me.
The only downside is my car kind of looks like a clown car with the blue paint on it haha.

Yea thats pretty ideal conditions. I havent taken mine to the track since Ive been boosted but I'm at 438whp and 355tq. I know the turbid setups usually run quicker but I would expect my car to pull around a 12.5 with around a 2.0 60'. My guess for you will be a 12.3

Thanks for the optimistic predictions! And good looks signing up at G driver, dboyzalter.

I spun first and second all night. After that everyone was saying I was a rocket... When I took it easy in those gears my times were slow though. I tried to use more of second and less of first but when the boost came in second spun...

2.1 was my best 60' time. A AWD subaru at 15 PSI couldn't get below 2.3 tonight.
13.7 quarter was my best tonight... 60' was 2.3 and 107 trap speed
109 was my best trap speed...

People are saying the track is too cold since it was gloomy all day... And the humidity killed us. Everyone was .5 seconds slower than usual.

I was running 13.9 without turbos rwd with 235's 5AT... It was very difficult to put the power down tonight. I have 200 more HP at least, 40 more MM of softer tire on each side, and it got me .2 seconds, lol.

I'm going to look into some better tires for the track only, and maybe a fuel cell because the back end is too light. That should make a big difference. But before then... I'm still looking for someone to paint my car for a reasonable price haha.

Well its official, nobody is ever allowed to drive my car except me. Let my brother borrow it to go to work and the vinyl it now ripping off of the fender.

I can't be mad because he used the airbags to get up over a bump but when he went to put it back to ride height he hit the wrong button and it was way too low.

My vinyl rubbed off on my inner fenders on the first day lol I just heated it up and applied the sealing tape to fix it. Plus the heat from rubbing helped smooth it out a bit

Do you have the time slips for your NA run and runs as TT? What did you trap NA? That humidity and track must have been real bad.
