Hey Craig how do you keep your airbag system happy without any airbags in your seats? Do you have one of those dummy plugs? Or do you just live with the light on and the system not working?

I have no light on the dash at all. When I took out my leather OEM seats, I pulled the seat belt buckle off of it and the wiring harness that was attached to it. I plugged that harness in just like it was on the factory seat and my airbag light has never come on. Since then I have switched to 2 different aftermarket seats and still no light.

I went a different route and removed the OEM seatbuckle all together. I did in fact get a blinking airbag light. Had to wire in the 2.2 ohm resistor into each harness and now it is content.

I read the 2.2 ohm resistor way, I didnt think their was any other way around it. I'm contemplating new seats, I have the heated leather ones now... We will see

In preparation of my next wrap, I picked up a pair of black mirrors and exterior door handles that I plan to experimentally paint black.

I wanted the mirrors because there is no way to wrap the inside of the housing so the inside on my car would always be white.

Well the mirrors I picked up had some clear coat issues and scratches and things so I figured I would wrap over them in black anyway so they match my roof perfectly. Gotta say Im pretty happy with how much better Im getting with wrapping. Im not close to perfect but I see progress. One of the mirrors in the picture is wrapped and the other is not

Nice where did you find the mirrors? I need to find a junk yard car so I can rob it of parts...

I was going to order new speakers and a new amp but my wife thinks I have issues so I keep holding off.

As much as im enjoying the light weight of the partially gutted interior I do kinda miss my stereo.

Decent deal. Nothing too spectacular. The guy I got them from parts cars regularly so its a business rather than a individual. I got him to 150 shipped for the mirrors and handles. He does ship, so what do you need off a car?

Thanks man. Don't have the offer in my hand yet, but my manager from my 2 rotation CoOp called me 2 days ago and said she got verbal approval from the VP to open a position in their department for me. Wanted to make sure I was still interested before she put together an offer.

Process Engineer with Hershey. As long as the numbers are half decent, I'll be accepting. Local to home means I can live there for 2 years or so and pay off my debt. Will be traveling a lot, but based out of Hershey is what matters.

Nice congratulations wish I would find a new job.

I don't really need anything in particular I kinda just wish I could find a z in a junk yard and pick away at various parts.

I was looking for the engine harness so I could attempt to tuck some of the wiring and have my original as a backup in case I an unsuccessful... I dont know how motivated I am though..

$150 for door handles and mirrors is a pretty good deal, I just spent $70 for 1 new drivers side door handle.

That black does match the super black really well.. What is that avery gloss black? The 3m doesn't seem to match that well.

Congrats Colton.

The mirrors and handles weren't perfect condition but it suits my needs. And yes it is Avery gloss black and in person it matches 100% to the oem black

I suppose 3m kinda sorta matches, but I would say its a perfect match, although it might be my paint is so scratch up and full of swirls that its just too glossy and perfect.

Craig you think I should just get a velocity manifold and call it a day? I have the V+ upper plenum now but that velocity looks so nice, and my cheap *** should have maybe coughed up the $750 from jumpstreet...

What do you think, you have one... Do you love it?
