Nothing against Pat, but I would recommend RT over Pat in my personal opinion. He also likely has a deposit with RT so backing out at this point wouldn't make sense.

And I would tell you to stop by while you're at RT, but Ill be in OCMD that weekend for the car cruise

I dont really know anyone or anything I just know its a long drive through New York city haha

Side note, Mike bring me your car so I can wrap it that Matte aubergine bronze I posted on the Facebook page.

If I had a reason to use that vinyl Id absolutely scoop it up. Im contemplating getting it just to use on the next car I pick up

I just sent Pat a link he can come in here and try to get some business if he wants too, I tried...

How much is he selling that crazy color wrap for? I was eyeballing it but thats way too flashy for me and my slow *** car.

Hopefully Pat can help shed some light then. Who knows, he may be traveling closer this direction sometime soon. But like I guess, Mike probably already has a deposit with RT so backing out is unlikely.

Its not too crazy. Its matte so it isn't too obnoxious and bright. And he's wanting $350 for it, comes out to roughly a 40% discount off of a new roll.

I wish it was a plain gloss color and I would wrap my civic. I can't justify doing color shift on a bone stock 98 civic sedan...

Yup you nailed it, $200 down and base map on the way, hopefully it won't turn into ~$1200 again. Honestly they really take care of you there so it's worth it for peace of mind. On top of that Vince gained my trust, which is extremely hard to do as I am very particular and typically savvy...

I definitely wanted to see the Z, next time, or I'll make a trip down to z nationals or something good down there next summer.

Funny story... Last time on the way back from RT my fuel gauge stopped at 1/2 tank and we kept driving...I ran out of fuel on I95 in NY/Jersey where it's 5-6 lanes wide. Absolutely down pouring. Road flooding. This was during rush hour and it was getting dark.

AAA has no 93 octane, phone was dying, and my friend was late for work. Ended up scooping gas from drivers tank to passenger tank with a cut up Gatorade bottle then bee-lined it to a shell station. Finally got to relax as the guy filled us up (we were in Jersey).

As far as I'm concerned I would rather leave the timing for the dyno and street tuning for touching up fuel maps. Only right way to do it really. If any of you disagree I'll hear you out. Not worth taking any chances with this much time and $ invested...

If your entire tune will be done the 6th you are welcome to voyage down to OCMD for the rest of the weekend and enjoy the rest of cruise weekend.

Went to a VQ Philly meet today. Knew some of the guys from selling parts to them but overall a great group of guys. They seem to love the work done to my car even though I repeatedly told them why the car isn't perfect...
In total probably had like 30 cars (not all are pictured). Definitely some 'interesting' cars there

Had no clue something like that was happening today. Looks like a good turnout at least.

I'm headed to the Junkfood meet on City Island later today with a friend. Not looking forward to waking up at 7 to clean the car...

I was considering the Junkfood meet. But the Berks street car page is having a charity event setup by my brother so Im going to that. First time all those guys have seen my car since the motor work so that should start up some controversy haha

Junkfood meet was cool (not actually - it was 90 degrees on the riverfront...). Not too much high end stuff, but the food was good to say the least

Well semi-fun fact: Was on my way home last night and came across a new camaro ss that wanted to race. Well Im not tuned so I am taking it easy (of course he doesn't know that).
He wants to start the race at like 80mph. So I don't even want to drop into 5th gear because I don't wan the RPM that high yet.

Turns out I pulled him from 80-120 using only 6th gear. If only he knew...

He already took the loss, so what he won't know is good for him. Poor guy

I think my car makes enough noises that he probably justified it with something like "Well mine is stock and still has warranty"
