I offered the guy $50 thinking it was one of those things that never really goes bad and if he sold the motor without the harness than he would be happy to get rid of it...
He didn't like my offer though

So my Audi A4 that I just bought Saturday through a CEL within 100 miles of driving it. Seems like the nice used car salesman cleared the codes before sending it. I'll get it scanned next time I'm home. What a lovely guy

I'll look into it depending on how serious it gets. My friend has VAGCOM which is like an OBD2 scanner on roids and coke, so that should tell me everything I need to know

Speaking of I see obd2 readers now for like $20 wtf did they drastically drop in price over the last few years or are those ones mostly garbage?

I think mine was $120 and its far from top of the line.

I have a small $20 one that uses bluetooth on my phone. Not quite as good as a real scanner, but for the price all I needed it to do was view and erase codes on the fly. And it is very good at that.

Went and looked at the car I was considering picking up. Wasn't quite what i wanted it to be and we couldn't agree on a price. I will probably message him in a couple weeks and try again. Nonetheless, went with my bro to pick up some E85 for his mustang, very weird seeing that on the gas pump haha

And my new tires came in. Not sure if you guys need tires soon, but if you do you should order now while Discount Tire has their sale going on. $100 off and free shipping for any order over $400. Got new Nitto Invos for $380 shipped

speaking of Audi, I just recently picked up an S5 a couple weeks ago.

My poor Z was struck by someone reversing without looking. Badly dented my rear fender. I can still drive the car but it'll rub if I drive too fast over a pothole (which is the main reason I bought another car).

I have a motordyne tdx2 exhaust that I'm considering parting out with before I sell my Z. Any chance someone in here would like to do a direct swap for their OEM exhaust plus cash? I bought it from member jus_jeff back in 2012. He put 4700 miles on it. I've had it the lat 4 years and put on approx 16,000 miles. So a total of approx 20k miles.

I'm located in Brooklyn NY if anyone is interested. I'll also be selling the car =( so sad. Had it for over 9 years

oh btw on the car: 2004 350z Touring, silverstone, Auto. Has 61k miles on it. Motordyne tdx2 exhaust and art pipes. 5/16 plenum spacer, JWT intake. Rota Grid wheels. It has amuse sideskirts and rear, as well as an OEM nismo front bumper. Nasty scrape, dent on fear fender which will need fixing. Also has regular scratches and dings here and there which I can show when I get home. Figured I'd drop a note here on the forums before officially putting up an ad. Hoping the next owner would take good care of it... =(

Selling for $5,500.

I have a surprising lack of pics of my car:

After the I got hit. I filed a claim through his insurance but turns out, the guy's insurance is no good! Geico dropped him a few days prior to the accident. Just my luck...

Damn that sucks. Does it still have a clean title? Ill ask my wife if she is interested when she gets home, she is kinda picky though and might want a convertible, but I'll ask.

Yup, clean title. I bought it pre-owned from a Nissan dealership back in 2007 (one owner). I've had it ever since.

But i dont know man, if your wife is looking for a Z i doubt she'd be interested in one with fender damage haha

Quarter panel damage is a tough one because they are welded on. So just about every body shop will do anything they can to repair the current one, which usually means a high price tag

Yup, which is exactly why I opted not to fix this car. I won't be keeping it so I figured maybe the next owner might want to take this on. I would assume it'd be a $3k job to fix approx

From my experience 3k is a pretty accurate estimate

Sorry to hear about the situation. Good looking car though.

I want that TDXV2 and only have a Nismo S Tune to offer. Have always drooled over that exhaust.

Hm I would prefer to swap with oem cause I'm trying to recoup as much as I can to sell the car.

Where are you located?

Actually while i'm at it, anybody interested in stock 17 wheels? It has tires on them (whatever the stock ones were which I can check this weekend). Would be good as winter wheels. Let me know!

Does that $5000 price include how it sits and delivery to Massachusetts haha im not that scared of body work... Do you happen to have any of the stock parts mainly the catalytic converters?

Im definitely interested for the right price, but it would be our 5th car and our 2nd Z...

Is it still driveable? Registered and insured?

Was it tuned for the bolt ons?
