In other news, received the down payment for my wheels that I'm selling. Currently being media blasted at my dad's work and then I'll respray them and polish the lips before handing them to the new owner.
Also placed my order on my new wheels. 12-18 week wait from Japan is going to be agonizing.
I hope you have other wheels to toss on there haha.
And its a Micro .380 Im just a huge fan of pocket carrying a .380. The size difference to a 9mm in any gun just seems to take it out of my range of comfortable and concealable. And surprisingly, the finish is the CSE edition which is a Cabelas on special because they partnered with Kimber. Im surprised Cabelas would actually make a finish this sleek, Id expect more of a camo finish from them
The G needed a proper burial. Somewhere in the rich neighborhood folk's yard would've been perfect.
And yeah, over 2 inches lost in "flushness" all around. What was Nissan thinking haha and it actually is sitting higher than it did with my 19s. The tires are taller on these with the massive sidewalls by over a half inch. June can't come quick enough
So Ive been wanting to make more trunk space out of my setup because I have a ton of space that isn't useable because its either covered or blocked. Ive also been wanting to get rid of the rest of my rattly plastic and redo a little bit of wiring.
So I decided to start that the other day and this is the rats nest I started with after I pulled out the sub box and air ride stuff. My original plan was to get rid of all the spare aluminum like the speaker bar but Im not ambitious enough to drill all the spot welds right now.
I am leaving all of that plastic out and just rearranging everything. So far its looking like I will just flip the sub box over and mount it in front of the strut bar.
And I will most likely mount the air tank to the bottom of the strut bar and put the compressor underneath of it, which would leave me the entire spare tire well for storage
Yeah this build will be doing a lot of nothing until the summer and then a lot will happen all at one.
Spent the the whole weekend sandblasting, bondoing, sanding, painting and polishing the old wheels so that I can sell them this upcoming weekend. Put a ton of time into them and they look better than I ever had them. Kind of jealous that I'm selling them, but such is life.
I know, brought a tear to my eye to see them in that good of condition, knowing I'm selling them.
Yessir. White faces, polished lips and gold bolts and spoke decals. Figured that I'll be keeping brown for this year and maybe next if the vinyl holds. Then wanting to do a blue or red, which White will still go with it.
Damn Craig that air tank is missive... If it wasnt so big you could mount it inside to cubby area and have the entire trunk to play with. But that monster could air up loader tires.
