Now time to pull plugs, gap them down and start installing the TB and Vortech intake piping.
Where in Jersey you heading to?

I went just across the boarder into Florence.

Also, managed to strip yet another thread in the engine today. It's a shame because I would have had the entire Vortech kit done if it hadn't happened. Time to go look for a tap tomorrow.

The OCMD car cruise was a total success. My car was acting up prior to and I said f*ck it, if it wants to blow up it can. Well I think it may have actually fixed its own issue and on top of that helps its ground against a lot of cars. I took some video but it turns out it didn't save. So heres is a small list:
-Several N/A 5.0 mustangs
-Many other mustangs
-Several boosted 5.0 mustangs
-A couple new corvettes
-Many STI's
-A couple Evos
-A handful of BMWs anywhere from a 135i to an M3
-Actually came dead even with a new C7 Z06

That list is definitely not conclusive but you get the idea. The minivan motor holds its ground.

Actually had at least 5 people ask me if it was LS swapped and then said they didn't want to race because it wasn't worth their time. Turned out I pulled them with the exception of 1 C5 corvette that had a parachute on the back but I still tried my hardest

Nice how is the new motor going? Is it going to be a mad dash to get together once this one blows up?

Finally started to work on the Z a little, I put together the wheel dollies and dropped the Z on it and then started working on the paint. Next thing to do is take these wheels off and put them up for sale when i get a chance.

Graduated today - so that's a thing. Now onto the actual exciting boost related activities.

Although my build is not going to do the minivan motor justice like Craig's, it's coming along nicely. Plugs, injectors, manifold, NWP TB, piping, bracket/blower and intercooler are all done. Only thing left to do before I turn the key is putting the new fuel basket in tomorrow. (Just need the boost gauge and catch can setup later). All this was done over the course of a week with zero rushing and only a few hours a day.

Looks good can you just run Craig's old tune? It's basically his old set-up?

I didn't have the 75mm TB and at this stage thats enough to throw off the tune and run lean. But yes his car is very similarly set up. Im trying to talk him into getting the pulleys I have on now. You never know if you have a Jesus VQ unless you try.

Fun fact, found a couple LS swapped G/Z's in ocean city that looked really nicely done and my stock motor VQ was quicker and pushing more power than both of them

Give me the big TB and be good to go.

According to turbo350z on this forum his 400hp turbo Z is more fun than his C5 corvette... Found that interesting. I always search craigslist for small block chevy motors for my S10... At some point I think I might make it a project, but i treat the body and bed so poorly I can't imagine it would ever actually be nice.

I need to wait until I can afford a knock knock joke before I check the spirituality of this motor haha

I can see that being true as I still found my 240whp enjoyable in my Z. I'm only assuming that 400+ will make it perfect for me

And I was thinking I lost my selling mojo for a second. But I listed this for sale on Friday morning and a guy just came to get it last night

Not much you can do about making that turd look any better... Me the wife and my parents took a little trip to Maine. The place I rented on the beach was a bit disappointing but not much you can do about that I guess.

At least the weather was nice.

Project manager at my summer CoOp lived in Maine all his life and was sharing photos of his place up there. Not a bad view in the entire state it seems like.

Also, finally got everything done on the Z for its tune on Tuesday. Redid the brackets this morning to raise the intercooler up another inch. Filled in the bumper opening nicely. Fingers crossed for 4XXwhp and no blown motor.

That is one clean garage, lots of nice places in Maine but its got a lot of nothingness also... Its a pretty big *** state... And everything is crowded when the weather gets nice.

Colton if Vince starts going at it and looks like you will end up in the 380-400 range, do you plan to have him toss on a 2.87 pulley? Or just rock the 380-400whp?
