i have yet to drive my car, but my dad was the one who picked it up from the shop (its a 100+ mile trip). he hasnt had any problems with it so far. right now i have the v3 tuner kit with:
walbro 255 lph high pressure fuel pump
Deatschwerks 600 cc injectors
Defi boost guage
AEM UEGO wideband
TurboXS UTEC and 5 bar MAP sensor
borla TD
when i get back im having them install my kenetix resonated test pipes and the 2.87 pulley and retuning it.
you seem to be pretty knowledgeable on the vortech, how do you think the vortech with 4.08 FD is going to act? i installed the pumpkin a year and a half ago, way before i planned on FI. Im also running 295's in the back might step it up to 305.

yeah u should be fine with that setup as they know the utec pretty well...I am not sure on the gearing part of things as i havent done anything with my car as far as that..I have looked into it but decided against it..It will get thru the gears quicker but not sure if it will really matter as far as actually making the car faster or just seeming faster if u know what i mean..it will cause more traction problems it seems than there already are so good tires will be a must..U must have rolled fenders if u are thinking of running 305's, 295's would be pushing it if not...What did ur car make on the dyno?

The 4.08's made a huge improvement when i was NA. I think i should be fine as far as traction goes with the vortech because of how smooth and gradual the power comes on. however, ive read that turbo guys have problems with shorter gears mainly because of how sudden the boost hits. With the stock pulley and stock cats i made 328 at the wheels at 8 lbs of boost. i think the reading might be a little low though because my baseline was 200 even, and that was with k&n drop in, plenum spacer and the borla. this is on a mustang dyno btw, which from what ive read, they do read kinda low. and yes, the fenders are rolled, the 295's look pretty mean coming out of the wheel wells and yes, there will be a drop coming soon, as well as a few body parts i need to install when i get home.

after i droped my g i went to rad's automotive in tonawanda for the alignment . he has a great alignment rack , only a coule years old , top of the line , and i made 3/4 thick plate ramps to get our lowered cars up on to the rack .
