Default Respectable Shop In North NJ

Anyone around that can give a good recommendation on an auto body shop that does reliable work for decent cash?
Haha, basically I'm asking whoever lives in North Jersey, where they go to get their work done.
Thanks.

I recommend ATX without question.

Stay far, far away from Acosta Motorsports in Wallington.

If you were closer to central NJ, I would recommend SPI Power Excel in Hazlet or MRC in Spotswood.

Traffic,

I live in East Brunswick and looking for a body shop to install a body kit, could you give me the contact info for the two shops you mentioned? Thanks.

How's it going? This is Jason from MRC Motorsports. We don't currently do body work but do everything else you could imagine to the car.. I could reccommend a few body shops if you want.. Shoot me an email if interested...

Wow, thanks guys, I haven’t been up on the forum a lot, cuz my comp has been having problems, and I definitely didn’t expect so many responses.

What’s so good about ATX? It seems unanimous that this is the place to go, any reason why?

What was bad about your experience with Acosta Motorsports? Or did what was the story you heard that makes your impression so bad about them?

Again, thanks a lot guys!!

Regarding Acosta, there was an insurance fraud incident. Apparently, they arranged for his drag MX3, trailer and all parts to be stolen from his shop in order to collect on the insurance payout. I don't they were ever convicted of any wrongdoing, but they were originally MVA and now are Acosta Motorsports.

However, this is beyond any dispute:

Jason,

How much do you guys typically charge for installing high flow cats and a true duel exhaust such as the Injen? How much for springs as well? Thanks.

Jason has done every little bit of work on my car. They are a great group of guys who are knowledgeable and very respectable.. I would recommend them to anyone who wants work done to their Z. They know what they are doing.. and give great prices as well.
