What are the Columbia Boys?
this thing = the system. i havent bought stuff yet...dont wanna buy anything till i know what the fack im doin...plus i need to know what lcd to get, and how to fit it in the 04 box.
I used an 03 box with the Xenarc monitor, and essentially you can use any computer you can fit in the car lol. For right now I'm just using an XPC from shuttle hooked up to an inverter...but I'll be getting a power supply in the near future made for the in-car pc setup.
is there anyway to cut the 04 box to fit? i dont like the color mismatch on the 03 box
and what about wiring? i ahve no clue how to connect the stuff once it's in there

Not that I know of, but I recall somebody making a post about the 04 NAV box working...may want to look into that. Honestly though, I can BARELY tell the color difference...the only reason it looks so dramatic in one of the pics that was posted was from the flash...you'll see when I finish mine up.
If you can make the drive up to WI, my company offers the install services for the PC. You would just have to provide the hardware (or we can help you choose the right stuff), and we'll do the rest.
Maybe want to wait until I can send you pics of my setup?
Wires we ran:
- Rear view camera from the back of the car to behind the radio (through the center console)
- A fused power wire for the inverter
- A usb extension from computer to center console
- RCA's from sound card to behind radio
- We are soldering new buttons and re-locating them onto the center console for the screen (on/off and switch source)
- I think that was pretty much it in terms of running wires
- Oh and for my Pioneer radio I had to get an extra unit to allow aux-in, and the power for the screen from behind the radio as well.

Yup, WI as in Wisconsin haha. Lol, I can send you pics in the near future. Umm, you may have to look around and see if anybody has gotten a way to do aux-in on the stock radio, but if not, then you would have to use an FM modulator...or get a new headunit.
lol. sup mario. im gonna build this instead of gettin wheels. pittsburgh roads are just too fcked up for nice wheels.
