WHERE: Framingham, MA - Flutie Pass - in overflow lot across from the AMC Movie Theater - directions

TIME: 10:00am

WHAT'S PLANNED: A cruise and then lunch (This cruise is for 350Z's, older Z's, and G35's only.) Location for the lunch TBD so check future posts. Suggestions: we can end the cruise at a restaurant along the route or we can stop at Dairy Joy in Weston which serves hamburgers, hot dogs and ice cream.

Since we never got a chance to "cruise" during the last meet at Riley's Roast Beef, I'm going to organize another meet specifically for a cruise.

I tried to organize an actual meet, but the two area that I had in mind were not possible: Hopkinton State Park (booked for the season) and Hebert's Candy Mansion (they want $700 to just use their lot)

I'm open to suggestions as to where to eat so throw out your ideas.

We can hang out in the lot for a little while, take some pics and then hit the road for a mega cruise.

Deb, Nazar is having an "Open House" at his shop up in Boston on August 15th (Sunday). Any chance that could be an alternative? Last year he had a meet for us and afterward we did lunch and a cruise along the shore. Below is a link to it.

Roger, that's not a bad idea. I'd definitely be up for that as I can't go on the 31st.

 

D'oh, I completely missed the 7/31 date! Sorry about that.

 

I have a feeling that the cruise for the 31st may be cancelled anyway due to lack of interest.

As of this moment, I have nothing scheduled for the 15th if we want to get a bunch of people together to drive over to Nazar's. You mentioned Boston...isn't it in Kingston? Or does he have two shops?

BTW his shop is in Kingston, just over the NH border.

The only conflict that this date has is with the August 14th meet at Palisades Park, so unfortunately we won't have the whole "CT Crew". I don't really expect too many people to show up at this one as a lot of people are on vacation, have plans, etc. Hopefully we can have a "real" meet ~30 days later and have the whole "crew" plus a lot of the new people that have shown up lately.

 

I've been trying to think of something fun to do for a meet and am still trying to plan something for late August/early September, just need to work out my idea.

 

Well that's a shame....I guess eveyone had their vacations scheduled at the same time this week. Oh well.

 

Yep...I think I just picked a bad week.
