350Z's represent at AutoX in Maryland
hey what's up everyone,
Just wanted to say that we had 5 (two columbiaZ!!) 350Z's show up for the Autocross down at FedEx field yesterday. It was my first time autox-ing, I did all right and had a h*ll of a time racing. Definately going to do it next time. We all raced stock B class, I'll post the times below. All I have to say is that the S2000s are going down next time. Mosf of them had radials which gave them advantage, plus much more experienced drivers =)
if any of you are interested, check out www.wdcr-scca.org and click autocross. The next event's September 5th (I think) with registration on August 22nd at 8 p.m..

Do you have to be a member of anything, or have any racing licenses or anything to race>
I am siked and wanna get in on this.
Also, does your car have to be bone stock? I only have a jwt pop charger and crawford plenum.

Dave,
No you don't have to be a member of SCCA, but if you're not it's $35 instead of $25. Still cheap. You have to sign up right at 8:00 b/c it fills up 300 spots in like 5 minutes.
Since you've modded your car you'd want to compete in one of the street modified classes. there's more info on them at the scca website. So you might be at the bottom end versus cars that are a lot more modified than yours... but I'm just there to go as fast as I can, I don't mind if other people in my class have faster cars.
hope to see ya there
