It's kind of like down in California with Sun and others.
We also have a ton of big companies such as Boeing and Weyerhauser that have an abundance of tech jobs available as well.

Chuckanut is Awesome! That's the best road I've driven so far in the Z, and you're lucky to have it so close to you. Let me know if you need a "wingman."
I actually proposed a trip through that road and through Deception Pass earlier, and we couldn't get it together. We should try this spring, though.
Update: Due to a temporary lapse in sanity, I made arrangements and got tickets for the illustrious Rose Bowl in Pasadena for New Year's. Not taking the Z (the Siskyous are dangerous on summer tires this time of year), but will bring back pictures. I can't believe I just did that - I guess I'm really a true Cougar fan.
(insert subliminal message here) CHAMPS KARTING - GO KARTING WITH Z GROUP - GOOD TIMES...

If you like the views I've got a place called Mt. Erie that is in Anacortes that is the best viewpoint I've run across in years.
It is a giant rock point that is about 1500'ft above all the surrounding area and looks out 360 degrees. It has an asphalt road to the top. It has a perfect view of the San Juans, Olympic Mts and the Skagit river valley.
AND we got a NEW Krispy Kreme in Burlington to stop at.

Special Hello's to Bob and Kevin, and seattle info too...I am ready for Karting or tracking or any type of meeting, I am ready for spring..the Z is squirrely in the ice, but fun. I finally got pulled over for no front plate today(He told me he was looking for an excuse to pull me over to look at the car, first one he's seen) I had a blonde moment and didn't turn off or remove my radar detector...he gave me some helpful information on locating my detector so it didn't block my field of vision. I told him the cscrews and mount for the plate were backordered and I was going to get it mounted when I brought the car in for service and warranty work in the next month or so. I put my plate on my dash , but he told me to place it in the glovebox because it could be a moving missle in an accident. I didn't have the heart to tell him that I didn't have a glovebox. All in all he was nice and no ticket, I was actually going the speedlimit for once too. Hope to see all of you folks soon. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday too. Marcy

Nice CS Z! Just curious, which dealer did you buy your Z from?
I'm still waiting on delivery of a SS w/Orange 6MT, all options that I ordered Sept 14th. The dealer has now revised ETA to first week of February from the Dec/Jan time frame he originally quoted.

3rdZ4you,
I bought the car down here, but it came from Salem. Have you called the dealer in Beaverton? They had seven (7) of them over Christmas. I have a feeling they are way overproducing these, with no market to sell them in now! I bet the resale of these will be crap in no time. Dealers went from charging 5 - 10K over MSRP now they are selling for under. I am glad I waited, and don't regret it a bit.

I ordered mine from the dealier in Beaverton. He's had me come in a couple of times to look at what they have in stock, but they never have the color/option combination that I was looking for.
I just talked to him today and he says Feb 3rd is the day - we'll see....
