I don't think it will be announced on the public forum anymore. I suggest emailing drivesolo. I shall do the same.

Well, according to the BECU website, there's supposed to be one on the 17th...so we'll see.

This weekend is completely open...so maybe we'll get one in as well.

lol. I think I'll just plan on the 17th for the next one. I think both of my slots are taken (guest wise) so anyone else will have to get on someones good side here. (Drivesolo, BA, Triple8 etc).

If a spot opens under me, I'll let people know.

I think at least one of my spots is open, so it should be alright...need to get some new brake pads before then, but I can't decide!

I'm back!

7 days of not driving my Z or any any other car for that matter has kinda freaked me out. I think that has been the longest I've ever been away from behind a wheel of a car in years. I missed my Z so much that I had to take it for a drive the day we got back... Ahhhh.... that hit the spot.

MadMax76. I've got an opening, you're welcome to come as my guest. Triple8Sol, you've got BKMC, right? Cool.

I'll be on street tires for this event, so catch me if you can.

D'oh! The weather outlook on weather.com, doesn't look too promising, but we're still a few days away before they can make an accurate call.

I wonder how many more people would like to go and race go-carts right after the practice. There is a place about 10 min away from Boeing parking lot called traxx. Here is there site: http://www.traxxracing.com/main.asp

Anyone...?

Hmmmm.... I feel an idea brewing....

Maybe we could have another Z meet this year. Maybe another meet-and-great w/ go karting as an activity. A lot safer an far more legal than the other options (reference: Mt. St. Helen's run up to JRO). It wouldn't take up a lotta time, it's flexible and the option of doing it one weekday evening is always a possibility. It's weather independant since most go-kart places are indoors and it give those of us that have the need-for-speed an outlet.

And I know that there are a few of you Z guys that are into go-karting. Some with racing series named after them. You know who you are....

'solo,

I like that idea. Low cost of body work repair as well.

Funny thing, is that w/ the cost of gas that it is today it'd be cheaper to get the a thrill off of a couple of go kart runs that the fuel for the Z.

So is it still on for Saturday? I'll be able to run in the morning for sure....and if so, does anyone want to caravan up???

Yeah, gas is a downer...good thing the Z/NSX get relatively good mileage. I'd hate to have a hemi right now.

I just came back from a SyKart lunch-time run. Oh man, did my performance today blow. I think I've been away from a car for too long. I'm in desperate need of this practice day. I think I should change my name to "Drive( and crash )solo". Thatwas the first time I ran w/ 12 people. It was like rush hour traffic through downtown Seattle.

Yep, we're still on for Sat. Same place, usual time. I'd caravan up, but I have the keys and haveto do the usual prep before hand. But I'll see you guys there.

Acckk! Defeated.... I knew I should've quit after that second run session.

Holy cow MadMAx76! What've you been eating? That was some driving you demonstated. Very impressive.

Now practice days have just gotten a bit more interesting for me. I'm looking forward to the rematch. Maybe BA Cutler can jump in for an some added fun.

I'm up for it... but I don't have any stock sized street rubber.

Thanks, drivesolo, coming from you it makes me feel extra special . It was really cool having similar setups so we could push each other. Without a reference it's kind of hard to concentrate. If we could get more Z people to come out on the street rubber it would make the competition even better (who said we can't compete on the practice day ).

Any idea when is the next practice?

P.S. I usually eat toasted baggels with cheese .
