I was hoping that we could keep up w/ Triple8Sol. What was I thinking??? His times had ours beat by a long shot.

Maybe what we should do is find a way of getting you on R-compund, then we could all go for a no-holds-bared race.

Hey Triple8Sol, how close did you come to the STi on R-compund? Did you beat his times?

Honestly, I don't know where the STi's ended up. I only kept track of the NSX's and the Z's. My best was only in the 37's. Scott was able to get my car down into the 36's.

I like Max's idea of going to Traxx one of these days. Maybe after the next practice session on 10/1?

Yeah, I'm all for a go karting meet-n-greet. I won't be around on at weekend so I'll miss practice.

Sounds like we have atleast 4 Z/G guys interested in a Traxx outing. Maybe we should make it a post and see who's up for it?

Since it was MadMax76's idea, I vote he start the post.

I'd be interested, assuming that it isn't a weekend that I'm moving or unpacking...

(Movers will be at the house on the 30th, and will be at the new place we're renting sometime after the 3rd)

Sounds like 5 folks interested.

Since Glen is moving up here maybe we can make it a bit of a "Welcome to the neighborhood" type thing.

I'm pretty sure that there are a couple more Z/G folks that would be into this. I think Lateapex would sorta have to come too, if anything just to show us how it's done.

How big of a course it Traxx? I've never been there. How's it compare in size to SyKart or any of the Champ's facilities?

Facilities at Traxx are alright. Race track is about 30 sec long, so racing for ten minutes gets you in about 20 laps which is not too bad. You can read more about the facilities at http://www.traxxracing.com/

I will start a thread somewhere in the afternood so we could keep track of who wants to come.

Doug L usually takes the time sheets home. It depends if he types them up or not. Posting practice times is generally not a usual part. Keep in mind that it's just a practice day. Sometimes Doug will type them up, sometimes he won't. Doesn't look like he got around to it this last time. At the next practice I'll ask for a volunteer before we begin the PM session.

As far as photos; if anyone has photos that they'd like to share I can post 'em on the BEAC site.

I got word on the plans for Oct 1st. It doesn't look like there will be a BEAC practice day (still waiting on a firm confirmation on that), instead it looks like there will be a WWSCC practice event. You will have to pay to run and it will run like a typical competition event; no trophies, but more runs that the typical event probably.

I don't think I'll be making it this weekend. Friends of ours just had a baby and it looks like we're going down to Portland to visit.

That's ok, tho, since the NSX really wasn't happy with my pushing the cooper cobra all season radials around. I think I'll save what's left of them for winter and return when I have good set of rubber and some suspension mods.

On a side note, I did get my exhaust installed!

Sorry dude, I can't make it to this one. I'm sure one of the other BEAC Z guys have an open spot. Hey anyone got a spot for MadMax76?
