Hey Jason,

I went through 1st Tech. Good rates and good service. I wasn't a customer at the time but they made it pretty easy, so I am now...

Good luck!

Yup, 1st Tech is where I'm going. I currently have my Spyder financed through them. I think everything will work out, but just slighly concerned that the low trade in on the Spyder is going to make things difficult.

BTW, I followed you off the 148th St exit Friday morning. If you saw a blue MR2 Spyder hauling *** around the corner behind you, that was me Your car looks awesome with those wheels!

Fife. Actually, almost every person I talked to there was an idiot. The guy I talked to previously at Auburn was really cool.

However at the end of the day, it's not the coolness of the sales guy that matters It's the price of the car. Anyways, I managed to haggle $1,000 off MSRP.

Default Hi Jason

Hey Jason, did you end up getting a track model? Guess you won't get much sleep on monday night. Did you happen to talk to Steve at Nissan of Fife? There is an older guy there who was the "Z" specialist, can't say I liked him too much. Steve was OK , but he was a car salesman, if you know what I mean. Good luck, they will treat you nice when you go to pick up your car. They will also try to beat whatever financing you get...they beat my peoples choice low rate, so I went with them> The nissan financing also has the option to wait 90 days before making your first payment...I wish I would have done that, but I didn't. I have never seen a black Z yet, I must see yours....we are all thinking of meeting in a couple of weeks...we will keep you posted. Marcy

Yup, Track model for Jason

I did not talk to Steve. Actually, I don't even know the name of the salesguy I talked to! He wasn't bright enough to give me a business card, and I was to busy to ask for one. It was an older guy however, I'd be suprised if he was any kind of specialist

"Yup... this here is the Track model. Top of the line. It has, uh, Brambo brakes, and uhm... yeah."

They ran financing for me, and while the rate was ok, it wasn't as good as what I should get from 1st Tech. However, being my age, and recently purcahsing a home, they might consider me risky *shrug*

Still slighly worried that my credit union is not going to like things with the crappy trade in price I'm getting. Oh well, I'll find out first thing in the morning!

Thanks,
Jason

Jason, congrats on your new Track model! This is a little late for you, but for others my local dealer (Vancouver, WA) told me today that the 350Z became available through the Costco program on 2/1/03. If it's like other Costco deals, that means net invoice (invoice-holdback-advertising) + 4% + freight. I didn't crunch the numbers for a Track model, but will before I go over there tomorrow. They can get the the exact car I want (PPW Track) on a dealer trade about 30 minutes away. Maybe I'll see you at an autocross or track day! Tick, tick, tick...
