Default FS: JL Stealthbox, JL 500/1 amp, amp rack

UPDATED 10/9/2006

I have the following items for sale...

JL Stealthbox (2x 10") in great condition: $250
JL 500/1 amp: $200
JL 300/2 amp: $200
Custom CNC machined amp for JL amps: $100
Power distribution block: $20

The amp rack was custom designed and CNC cut by Innovative Audio in Bellevue. It fits in the well behind the driver, and mounts into existing bolt holes. It can stack multiple JL amps (I was running a 500/1 and 300/2).

I'll sell the whole package for $600.

Pictures of the rack/amps:

Anyone know what type of speakers those are in the Stealthbox? I know they are 10w3, but then there is v2; v4; and website lists it as v3-8. I'm confused. If you were to replace those speakers which ones would you buy?

so according to the JL website, the new speakers are 8ohm speakers. I'm guessing when paired they run at 4ohms. Is that right? I don't understand the JL 500/1 amp specs. its says that @ 4ohms it runs 500watts and @ 2ohms it runs at 250watts. Shouldn't that be vise-versa?

It's a little wierd with fully regulated amps like JL Slash'es. Usually they have the same watts regardless of the ohms you're running at.

As far as I know, this box has 10w3v2s. I know at some point later they revved them to v3s.

I also remember reading that the box can fit W6v2s.

Sorry for the slow replies, I don't log on here often since I sold the Z

No idea, I paid Innovative Audio to do all the work in my Z

I'm not messing with the S2000 much, HU for iPod support only.
