Default Bellevue police ?

So has anyone here had any negative run-ins with the Bellevue police?

Earlier this week I was traveling East on Bel-Red road and stuck in total gridlock. I imagined it was because there was probably a signal light out farther East in Redmond with all the power outages. So I made a right turn to head over to NE 8th. It was a good move because NE 8th wasn't backed up at all.

Anyways, I made this "free right" turn over to the side street to head South towards NE 8th. Then the light turned green for the North / South traffic, and the police car (who I saw all along but didn't think anything of), proceeded to go through the light, right up behind me, and then he turned on his side floodlight / spotlight and totally checked me out and my entire car, left to right, front to back. Meanwhile I was thinking, "C'mon, give me a break, what did I do???" Well nothing happened and we all proceeded on as normal.

I always feel like police target me when I am driving the Z, even if I am driving totally mellow.

-I feel like I get followed/watched all the time now...but I'm lowered w/ rims, so I kinda expect/deserve it.

I had a few run-ins with the Poh-leace. I drive around town and up to Canada quite a bit. I see a lot of cops 'camping' near on I-5 (Bellingham/Burlington/Tulalip/Northgate) and both the bridges.

You know, like when you are stopped at a red light, but you can still make a right turn even though your light is red, or when you have a green light, but you can't go straight because of traffic, but you can still make a right turn.

Excuse me ? "They" had a red light. I had a green light, but the traffic was all backed up, so we couldn't go straight without blocking the intersection. I could however turn right. Then the light changed, and the cop went through the light.

But when we are stopped at a red light, and there are no cars coming, yes it is legal to turn right.

This forum kind of sucks in that there is always someone who responds in a smart-*** and insulting manner, like "UGOTZ'D" there did.
