Default blame it on the rain

anyone have problems driving in the rain? the Z feels 'nervous' on the freeway when i'm going ~60mph. feels like its gonna hydroplane when i'm driving on lanes that have pools of water caused by depression in the concrete (caused by heavy traffic). that's very apparent from Lynnwood-to-Burlington on I-5.

oem RE040/no TCS/ no VDC

I moved to SO-3's a long time ago. This is the rating on the stock tires, and is pretty accurate IMO, though I only put 4000 on mine before I switched.

I've got the bridgestone KDW NT's; they drive well in the rain... but the freeways around Seattle are terrible - I just can't wait for Sunshine!

I "burned off" my OEM Bridgestones before the first winter with the Z so that I could put on ANYTHING else.

I'm currently on Kumho ASXs (245/275) and love 'em -- except when it's just "damp" on the autocross course!

Running Kumho SPTs, they're good in the rain but not so good when a smooth road surface is just slightly wet

All the lanes with grooves are the slow lanes, 60mph is too slow. J/K

And I need to be able to drive my Z in the snow, which is why I have all-seasons -- not that I really LIKE to drive the Z in the snow.

Milli Vanilli.

I think the guys who actually wrote and sang the music are now employed by Tupac and Biggie's label, to put out music in their names.

What kind of tires do you have? I had the Michelin pilot sport all seasons and they were not fit for much more than the occasional snowcone on the road.

Woo-whoo!! I took the S14 out this morning, man what fun! I've been driving my truck for a couple of weeks now, it was a nice change of pace. It was great getting that back end to come out. I'm not a big fan of the rain, but every now and then I get a kick out of it.
