Default Shops doin Prochargers in Seattle?

Do we have any shops up here doing reliable engine mods in Seattle yet? I'm looking for others in the area who've had work done who can personally vouch for work -- thanks all!

Sadly no sponsors(with shops) on these boards in this area as of yet. Oh wait I take that back! Worldoneperformance.com they are local, not sure about their rep but seems like a solid performance orientated shop.

Also I'd like to add that I was talking with Speedwaremotorsports in Redmond and they are adding Stillen to the products they carry and will be doing more for the Z scene in Seattle very soon. Just throwing that out there, they got me some parts when I did my BBK.

worldone are the guys down in kent, right? I went by there a couple years ago, and all they were doin were 4 bangers. This was about the time that the first turbo kits were comin out and blowin engines left and right and didn't really feel comfortable about them at the time. I'm trying to avoid Stillen as I don't want to have to do a whole new hood -- the procharger has a decent rep, decent power gains, and decent reliability (from what I recall). I've been out of the forums for about a year tho, so don't know what's been going on in the meantime. If there are better alternatives, I'm all ears.

Are you settled on the idea of a supercharger? Any reason why you're choosing the Procharger over the Vortech?

Couple of years ago? That's not us then We just moved to kent back in September of 06. Your thinking of Intec Racing.

Anyways, we can definitely handle your procharger install if you would like. We do everything from custom built motors to simple intake installs. Oh and sad news for everyone, we just sold our Time Attack R32 Skyline So no more rides for customers!

Procharger vs vortech? No real preference there... The goal would be a moderate increase in horsepower without having to worry about getting a new bottom end. Last time I took mine to the dyno was around 242 at the ground. I'd like to up that by about 100 or so... so I'm open to thoughts, experiences, etc.

Like I said, I'm steering away from the stillen due to the hood issue. I'm a little averse to the turbos just because I'm not sure I'm willing to lay out that amount of cash yet.

Yeah, I am probably thinking of Intec. In that case -- Howdy WorldOne!

Procharger generally give you more HP but the Vortech is safer. I would go with Vortech in my opinion. Quality is awesome and it doesn't have a loud supercharger whine which a lot people like. I personally like the supercharger whine but that's just me

You have upgradability options with both of those centrifugal s/c kits, to boost to pretty decent power levels on a stock block. Neither of them sound very good at idle imo though. Turbonetics single turbo might be another option for you to look into.

A friend and I did the stage 2 install ourselves, back in September '06. Because of time restraints, I had a local shop do the stage 4 parts for me a couple months ago. They have a 2wd dyno too, so I'll be doing some dyno tuning there next month.

Surprisingly, Advantage Nissan in Bremerton does Superchargers, TT, and complete engine rebuilds. They have people come from other states for their work. You might check them out.

I would recommend Speedware in Redmond, they actually built my SCCA T2 350Z racecar. They can install or fab anything (just go into their shop and check out the 1969 Z28 Camaro that they are building that has a full tube-frame chassis, SCCA TransAm motor (650hp), independent front suspension etc. and some of the other eye candy (my favorite is the Supercharged Audi S4 wagon (550hp)).
