https://my350z.com/forum/faq.php?faq...faq_spot_cards

I have put these on quite a few cars, and I write on the back to let the owner know to post in the NW regionals thread and give a shout out, but not one has ever joined. I think I am ready to give up.

And btw I only put them on modded Z's. I would think that they would like to join up!

I mean there is nothing wrong with the ones in that link... it's just that people don't have any interest. I don't see any way we could make a new set of cards that would actually attract people to the site more. Maybe a

OR
DIE

logo could!

I'm bone stock and was happy until you idiots got me thinking about doing some modification for performance. Unless you bought a modded car, everyone was stock at some time. I wouldn't leave them out.

I think we have to 'lure' people in rather than 'convince' them. The best thing going here is all the info. A card that simply states that you are Z enthusiast that wants to pass a helpful source to another Z owner should suffice if they are open at all. A statement about the amount of members and posting rate would be good too.

Enthusiasm is catching. If they don't go for it, so what? Who is going to be upset at someone trying to be helpful?

Thanks for the link to the cards... they don't really grab me though. Something about them makes me feel like I'm reading a parking ticket.

You've been spotted. Prepare to be prosecuted. All your base blah blah blah...

I'll play with a few ideas this weekend and see what I can come up with.

I think Q8 was text messaging. Other than then we are great examples, so I guess you were paying us all a compliment from down south.

Q8, I haven't seen your name on the sign up for the Roslyn drive. Get with the program and meet us at the Edmunds ferry dock at about 10:35 AM. Check the thread.
