Wow....

I am driving home today, I see this motorcycle cop has somebody pulled over. I slow down to about 20 turn on my blinker to go around him, as do the people infront of me and behind me.

HE DROPS EVERYTHING HE IS DOING, GETS ON HIS BIKE AND PULLS ME OVER. For failure to display front liesence plate.

WOW What a ****ing joke. WOW.

I got a warning from a cop when I was at a mini-mart last summer. I didn't want to punch holes in my bumper so I bought a stillen mount. Maybe it was wrong length because it sticks out like 3 inches from the bumper and ugly as hell. So I took it off and hasn't gotten any ticket yet... What a waste of 50 bucks...

That kind of bites. that you recieved a ticket I don't have front plates on any of my cars.. I guess it all depends on the cop and what kind of day he is having.

 

OMG your kidding dude. He just left the person he pulled over and got you..lol! I have gotten 2 fix it tickets but not yet a ticket. Did you know in Wisconsin that if you are caught with your neons on its a $179 ticket with 4 points!!!!!!!! OMG

 

I made my own front license plate bracket that attaches via tow hook receptacle. License plate is neatly tucked in below bumper. Have made a couple for other drivers.

BTW... in Canada people who drive with neons on are taken out to the back forty and shot..... Just kidding guys

When you get home... do this. Take a hammer and jam the shxt out of the front license plate, then buy a $5 plastic bracket and bring that in half. Keep that in your car. In case you get pulled over, show the cop those items and tell him someone just backed into you yesterday and here's the evidance!

 

I've got the Stillen bracket and it only sticks out about 3/4". Saved my front bumper the other day when I hit something in the drive. It took the blow to the tow receptacle and not the bumper. Of course now it is bent. If you don't want yours, bring it tomorrow. $?

 

Hmm, maybe I'll keep my bent up plate and bracket.

Actually, I may do that and say I just had my new bumber installed. I was going up to nissan so they could give me a new bracket for the liesence plate. and I ordered custom plates and was waiting for them to arrive.
