Default Thinking about installing GT brembos myself

My cousin was talking about letting me get his R34 Brembos GT BBK at a good price. I know itll probably cost me a pretty penny so I was considering on installing the system myself. Does anyone local around the UW seattle or close by area have experience with doing this? Is it hard if I have jacks and tools? I've never really worked on a 350z before and have limited knowledge except that the brakes should work given the stock brembos are the exact same as the r34 is japan so I'm assuming they fit.

are you sure its a direct bolt on first of all? The part numbers for the brembo GT's are different for the Z and the R34 brembo GT kits

"Somehow, somebody at Stoptech heard about our plans and decided they were up to the challenge. All other work came to a halt as they started bombarding Nissan with questions. With persistent interrogation, they learned the Brembo brakes available on the Track Package are the exact same brakes offered on the R34 Skyline GT-R. Perfect. If R34 brakes bolt to the Z, then Stoptech's 13- and 14-inch upgrades for the Skyline would fit as well."

Im assuming they would if specs are the same. I will have to test fit em first and determine it I guess. Hopefully soon.

He isn't, that is why he is asking the question. After doing some reading it looks as if the brembos for the R34 are idenitical to the track model brembos.

the calipers and pads appear to be the same, the differences lie in the rotors and the brake lines, so if anything, you can order the rotors for the 350z and possibly the lines as well

Interesting. Just from reading the article it says the stoptech 13 and 14 inch kits for the skyline should fit the 350z so I'm assuming its a direct fit? I could be totally off but I'll ask some mechanics I know who work on lots of imports and see that they think. Thanks for the help people.
