Default My Trip to GT Motorsports (pics included)

Well, after a 14-15 drive down I-5 me and my personal camera man "RockstEdy" made it down to Rancho Cucamonga and the famous GT Motorsports. This is the final piece to completing the project that started nearly six months ago.

Here are a couple teaser pictures I stole off his website (http://wearescumbags.com/home/index.php)...

We dropped off the 350Z at GT Motorsports to get some tuning work done this morning.

The Z should be pumping out over 600 horsies when it is done

Other go fast cars in the shop..

May I assume you are able to see them (the pics) then?

Yeah, GTM is a pretty large facility...they have enough stuff going on to keep them very busy!

Unfortunately I won't see you while you're down there Keith.

However if you're home when I make my trip, I'll stop by your place and take a break.

Good luck with your project. Make some videos while you're down there!!

Yeah, that stinks Miluo, but you are welcome to stop by Portland (my place) because I want to check out your beast in person! We can go take a few pics

OMG thats so sweeet! Also very nice pics from the shop. Those cars are so nice...this is why we need to move to CA...all I see on the roads in Seattle are either ferrari owned by unappreciative people or fart can rice rockets

It is funny you mention that, Alvin. One of the things we are looking forward to is the ride home as we are armed with the video recorder.

The trip down was pretty mellow since my existing engine management (UTEC) is tuned in such a way that it needed to be left out of boost for the most part.

Just north of LA, we see a Ferrari 360 pulled over by cops and thought how much fun it would have been to see that car on the way home to do a little bit of "testing"...

Anyway, as we enter LA, I see some very unique headlights in my rear pulling up quickly. All of a sudden, the car zooms up and pauses next to us before darting off. Yup, it was the Ferrari...

All I could think of is why they couldn't have done that just a few days later... would have made for a fun little video clip

My Pop's lives in Rancho Cucamonga, I had no idea that GTM was there! I am going to have to make a visit there in July, and check out their work. Good picks by the way and man do they work on some sick cars!

I actually ran some for a month or two, just for fun. That is a really nice looking shop though. Cali folks have it so good...

Yes, and the pictures do it no justice. You have to see it in person to really get a grasp on how much they have going on down there!
