Personally, if I were asked or given an opportunity like this I would take it regardless if there is no compensation. It gives exposure to potentially get your car noticed and then who knows, maybe you will get sponsored. It will also help you network and meet new people that are in the industry that may help you along the way of where you want to get with your car. On top of that, you have higher chances of getting media exposure by displaying your car in a booth like Toyo.

As an exhibitor car, you won't even be competing for anything, just for display. This sounds really lame. As it turns out, an old friend contacted me, so I might have my car at Formula D after all, to help out a local shop. I'll keep you guys posted
I can understand your point of view and judging by your response, you have no aspirations about getting media coverage or getting your car noticed by a company who may want to sponsor you. There are others out there that want to get somewhere with their cars and participating or volunteering for opportunities like this definitely raises your probability of someone noticing your car. To each their own.

Where are all the pics?

There just aren't very many show cars in the NW, plenty of GO cars though. Check out this thread from our golden gardens meet and see if any of the cars there have potential, and maybe we can help you locate them.

Damn, the pictures of those 3 girls caught my attention. I think that picture made my decision to go to Seattle for Formula Drift, lol!

What about the procharger G35 with the air suspension? Looks like its already sponsored by Toyo, or it at least has the windshield banner

They looked great smeared all over my car! I have great video of the whole thing. That's Mark's R33 they were all over his car too, got some great photos as well, I hope his wife wasn't too mad at him

The one with the muffin top was cute, the other girl was dead sexy she was at least 25 that I could tell. They both smelled divine

Yes, that's a sponsored car...or at least was in the past. Wonder why they didn't look into that...

Yeah that G35 with the airbags was nice!

Plus that is a show car.

My Bodykit will be all put on this weekend but unfortantly I'm running a pretty damn stock interior. Maybe a year away from actually looking good. But I do love my Toyo's on my Axis Shines.
