Default restaurant recommendations seattle area

Hey. I'll be heading to Seattle this weekend to celebrate my making a lot more money. Can anyone recommend a good steak house please? I don't care about cost.

Thanks,
Tubbs

Canlis. Hands down. I absolutely love that place. If you want a steak house proper, then Metropolitan Grill.

But, yes, Canlis. I repeat, Canlis.

Daniel's Broiler is awesome. Ruth Chris and Union Square Grill is pretty good too. I haven't been to too many steakhouses, so I can't really comment on the Met, Morton's, etc... I hear El Gaucho is really really good...

Metropolitan Grill is the best. I have eaten there a few times. Very nice place. One of the top 10 steak places in the USA. Go there first.

There's one in the U district as well, pretty decent and probably best bang for the buck steakhouse around

I'd be interesting in seeing your source for this.

So Canlis is that ultimate huh? Would you guys consider it the best restaurant in the area? I may have to take the wife there.....Is there a long line for reservations, or is like a week enough notice?

The best restaurant in the area is "The Herb Farm", rated one of the best in the USA by Zagats. VERY expensive!!!! Thanksgiving dinner for 2, $487.50, a couple years ago.
The Finest PERIOD.

Sometimes you need a year for reservations. They have 3 seatings a week normally.
