As do I. The astronomical price tag + the cost of painting has kept me from going through with it though...

Hey Aaron I'm gonna start going to the local drag/autoX events after winter time. You wanna roll up with me? I think it will be a good learning experience.

So as an update, the bumper is not going to be shipped until after the new year which sucks.

I bought a BRAND NEW pair of '06 headlights from ebay for $295 shipped!!!! now that just plain rocks and so once the headlights arrive I'll be switching back to my stock bumper so that I can at least drive my car around ...

Oh well, it's gonna be a much prettier new year.

I figure if the recall was 20050617 - 20060908 then this should not be an issue ... and if it is, well then other drivers beware

Hopefully you'll get a chance to handle the CF hood at the same time as the oem hood. I'm interested to know how they compare in weight. The fiberglass Stillen hood was actually considerably heavier than the oem aluminum hood. since most CF hoods are just a CF layer on top of a fiberglass skeleton, I wonder if there will be any real weight savings?
