Hopefully you'll get a chance to handle the CF hood at the same time as the oem hood. I'm interested to know how they compare in weight. The fiberglass Stillen hood was actually considerably heavier than the oem aluminum hood. since most CF hoods are just a CF layer on top of a fiberglass skeleton, I wonder if there will be any real weight savings?
Yes, please way them for comparison for us so we can put that argument to an end

I can definately do a weight comparison but actually weighing them might be hard .... I personally doubt that there will be any weight savings, it's all for the styling ...
Wow...hey it's actually great that you did that. I've been wondering about the exact difference forever. Now if only someone would compare the Kenstyle front to the KurumaZ or Greddy.
WERD! Dave Winslow is the man to talk to at Bellevue Auto Rebuild!
Wait, is that the lanky freak with the lazy eye? I hate to say it guys, but after using the touted Bellevue Auto Rebuild after I got rear-ended a year ago, I wouldn't **** on their building if it were on fire. Maybe it was them dealing with state farm? Bottom line, my rear bumper looks like an orange peel, and when they supposedly "re-sealed" the gas filler, it looks like a two year old smeared play-doh around the filler with his finger. And this is after having a State Farm guy come out and inspect the job they did and sending it back. Two times there, almost 5 weeks with a rental, them making me pay for the rental the second time (state farm BLOWS!), Winslow saying "yeah, it'll be done today" a bunch of days in a row. . .pssssh. . .place makes me sick.

colin, try taking it to bel-kirk in kirkland on the corner of 116th and 124th. They painted the body kit on my old car. Did a great job.
Thanks for the info, my buddie took his SUV there to get it fixed and I don't remember him saying anything bad.
However, I've decided on JMI and I am doing a paint graduation on the vents from Carbon to Pearl White and am confident that JMI is the perfect place to take it to as they have a ton of experience working with import show cars.
