thats how it is gunna stay. i left an area in the middle to put a plate on, but i think i will just rather get the ticket than run a plate, lol. will cut that section out also prolly. the whole area right there is reinforced with 2 layers of really thick boat hull fiberglass matting to make it super strong even though it is thin plastic. you cannot even flex that area at all so it will hold it's integrity. i did it because it is original and i personally like it. opens up airflow to the top of the ic and the radiator also, so it is mostly for function than looks.

Thinking of doing that to my CE28s. Black with the DB lip. Care to pm details please?

Not feeling it at all. Your car is like a cross between a track and show, not really street since you got the gutted interior. I like how the paint disappears but the car as a whole is just not my bowl of soup. Paint is very nice, again.

actually, your definition of track/show car is EXACTLY what i was going for. so i hit the nail on the head. btw, interior is not installed in those pics as car is not finished. understandable it is not for everyone, but i sure do like it!

...and no sales tax!

I do want to see this car in person before I pass judgment on the paintjob.

ya, this started as just a headgasket replacement, lol. new paint, new wheels, nitrous, haltech, and a bunch of other stuff is how it is ending . been taking awhile.
march 30 for gg iirc. car should be done in 2-3 more weeks, so i'm planning on heading up!

btw, put the new wheels on last night.

i honestly liked the looks of the mods better, but i think it is just that the gold is WAY off from looking good. they head for powder coating on monday to go black again!! then i think it will look sinister again.

It's nice except for the decals in the front and all those holes.

Absolutely correct!
A camera (no matter how fancy) can't capture the essence of what Scott has done. First of all the blue base color is sooo rich...DB seems rich, but this color is definitely deeper and richer. Now, for the flames. I honestly can't describe how awesome they are. The design, color, pattern, and chameleon effect is INSANE If you look at a spot dead-on, you can't see the flame...at extreme angles you see a very tasteful (not overpowering) metallic orange flame...and at intermediate angles you see silvers and dark blues. My favorite aspects of the flames is that they're not overpowering.

Hopefully Scott can share some pics when the sun comes out....which is a few months away. In the meantime, perhaps he should get a chic over to look at it, because they're so much better at describing colors....

A++ on the job Scott
