The "official" Pre-Golden Gardens caravan thread

Ok, this is not hard. The poll thread says we meet at Northgate. We roll out, and drive like normal. Everyone stops and regroups a few blocks from GG and we roll in together from there. That way everyone has an easy to find meeting spot and we get some great photos, no one ends up driving around the city lost, and the show up in that very impressive lineup like we did last year.
This is only difficult because a couple people want to be resistant.

has anyone checked if the 'original' road to GG has been unblocked yet?

Now let's figure out how early we need to haul our @$$e$ outta bed on a Sunday morning.
I was just going over last year’s post:

Seems that we got together at Northgate at 8:30AM and planned to leave at 9:00AM. If I recall correctly, we ended up leaving a little later (9:15 – 9:30). Since we’ll be driving a few miles more than we normally would due to road construction and if we want to get those spots along the water, we should leave Northgate around 8:30/8:45AM. This would probably call getting together for a meet/greet and photos at around 8AM the latest.
I think if the weather turns out cr@ppy that day we can opt to meet at a later time. If the weather is nice, a big turnout will be guaranteed and decent parking will be a premium.
Thoughts? How’s this work out for the guys coming from Portland and places more than an hour’s drive from Seattle?

Finally the plan is coming together!
My apartment isn't huge, but I've got a couch and loveseat people can sleep on if they want, and a lot of floor space. So, anybody from out of town is welcome to crash my crib Saturday night to be ready for Sunday.
