I think the comfort stations are the toilets by the upper parking lot. I guess there is a dog walk area there too.

Yeah, this closure shouldn't affect us at all. That road won't be used by anyone since it's still closed off half way up the hill due to the road construction.

I will bring two radios. Whoever has them should bring them. We should be able to get 10-20 radios. Many of us already knows how to get there or have Nav. so should be fine if we just split up in to a few groups. I can volunteer to lead or tail a group since I work a few miles from GG. Let me know if I am needed for anything.

Everyone should review the map. It's not that complicated.....

 

Inspite of all the efforts made by various members to keep the Z/G caravan in cohesion, a group this size will inevitably get fractured due to intersection and unforeseen interruptions. Some of those stops are probable, while others are certain. And so, I added some juction points in the map to show where potential stops can occur. This may be helpful in planning your trip. (note the 4-5 stops right out of Northgate)

Hey and I have 2 radios I can bring.

 

If you have extra radios; bring 'em if you got 'em. Keep in mind that we want to use GMRS radios and all be on Channel 15.1. In short, a GMRS radio is capable to transmitting further than an FRS radio. The easy way to find out what you have is to tune it into 15.1. FRS radios will only go as high as Channel 14.X (or 12.X... I forget).

If it turns out that there's not enough GMRS radios to go around we'll default to an FRS Channel 10.3. If that channel sounds familiar to you, it is . Lets see who's the first to figure that out.
