Photoshoot locations... (Portland,Vancouver)
Meldrum Bar Park in Gladstone, OR has some good spots for river background shots. Also, that parking garage we had the meet at a couple weeks ago had a good Portland skyline back drop.

Meldrum is a great spot for river front backgrounds. It's rarely busy; especially during the colder months. I, definitely, recommnd.

There is a view spot on SW Terwilliger Blvd neer OHSU and Duniway Park, where you can pull off and get a great shot with the city of Portland and Mt Hood in the background.
There is also a spot up by the Washington Park Zoo on, I believe, Washington Park Dr. (can't remember the name, but it is the road from the Zoo through the Rose Gardens) that also has a great shot with Portland and Mt Hood in the background. But it is a popular spot for camera shots and is the one that is used on a lot of postcards and calendars.

These are spots with parking pullouts that would work to take a picture of your car and have the city in the background.
I haven't been up there in a couple of years, but they use to work great for those kinds of pictures.
There are several viewpoints with parking up in the West Hills that overlook the city.
This Saturday is suppose to be nice, so it might be a great day to get some pictures up there.
