I'm in what is known as a micro snow belt at the base of the Olympics. It snowed last night down to about the 500' level. Partly blue skies now, but the prediction is snow for the peninsula tonight or tomorrow. You guys must have got a omen for what's to come. Most people don't realize that Seattle and vicinity at sea level only gets snow about 3 times/year that sticks.

Funny, before if there was a rare happening, people prophesied the end of the world, coming of Christ, etc. Now it's global warming. We're no smarter, just more politically correct.
BTW, I'm not inferring that any of those things won't happen, just that we still don't give any credit to mother nature or the roll of the dice.

I don't know what you guys are crying about? If you've lived here in Antartica for this long, you should expect it.

Here's the thing. I'm from Michigan. This is nothing as far as snow goes. Or cold. However, with that being said...

This morning there was an earthquake in Michigan. It was ~80 and sunny there. Today in Washington there was snow, hail, sun, clouds, rain, thunder, and lightning. In the middle of April.

I believe that it is the end of worlds. It's been a pleasure knowing you guys.

"I believe that it is the end of worlds".

Does that mean Ur-anus won't be around either?

I was snickering at the bad fortune of all you guys in Everett and other places south of me... until it started snowing here yesterday. Nothing that mattered much, but snow nonetheless, and this morning it's 34 degrees and white out. So much for my planned motorcycle ride. I'm not quite THIS stupid.

I am ready for the weather to normalize. Whatever exactly "normal" is around here.

Like I told everyone yesterday...

All I gotta say to Mother Nature is: "Spring, you're FIRED!"

Still in Bellevue? I thought you were on your way to California.
