i think i got the first set back in 2003, lol. ride feels good, no complaints really. i did cut 2 extra coils off the front though (dropped it another 1.25") and one coil off the back (-.50-.75") going to go cut another coil off the rear in about an hour though to tuck the rears abit more and try to bring my spoiler off the ground a touch more.
i only drove on the stock springs for like 2-3 days though before i lowered it, so my comparison to stock may be abit rusty.

I'm not too fond of the the progressive springrates, hotchkis or s-techs would be a better option IMO

Aren't S. Techs progressive too? I'd only really look at 2 options, and both are reasonably priced. Hotchkis (which I had) and RS*R

the windings do not appear to be progressive. the first few coils are wound tight, and they collapse till they touch when at normal ride height. how it would have to be done to have raised spring rate, lower spring, and still have decent extended pressure on the spring seats so they do not fall loose when ya jack it up. the rest of the coils are linear at compressed height.
