Default Anyone used Intec Racing in Kent?

Still looking for a shop to tune me and was directed to Intec. They told me they've installed T's and SC's on a bunch of Z's and they sounded competent.

Anyone on the forum who's worked with them?

I had heard good things but now I have been hearing not so good stuff. A buddy took in a Civic for an exhaust and they messed it up. Then my other buddy went in for a tranny swap on his Prelude and they didnt seem to know how to do it...

UPGarage would be my first choice based on word of mouth if I lived up there, you can pm Brewpubeaver and ask him, they do all the work on his R32 GTR.

if intec has a dyno, they are the ones that almost blew up my brother's old evo. He was one of the people that paid to get some dyno tuning done, and they used his car to try to calibrate their dyno...said his 330+awhp only put out like 80 hp...they are dumb. i appologize if this is not the same shop, but im like 75% sure that it is. Brother is out of the country, so he cant answer the phone for me to ask him.

Intec is off of 212th....www.intecRacing.com

I went to Greggs in Federal Way after I bought my headers/exhaust and they didn't want to touch my car. The manager flat out told me it wasn't worth it to him if they were to screw something up.

I think you are mistaken, i dont believe they have an awd dyno, from what i remember it may be a dynojet. I have nothing but great things to say about intec racing, they helped me out alot with my 240sx build, and the tune i got from there was so smooth (not just full throttle, but everywhere in the rpm range and different loads.) I was very impressed. UPgarage is also a great shop that i could recommend, however they focus mostly on 240sx and jdm motorswaps. THey do the cleanest install jobs around. They have a mustang dyno and tune as well. I dont know if they have any experience with 350z though. I would lean towards intec for install and tune. up garage doesnt have a lift.

ok, brother is back and talked to him. He said it was keido motorsports (sp?) and I think he said it was in Ballard. He dyno'd 112 awhp there, then went to another shop and dyno'd 322...

intec doesnt have an all wheel dyno. so they couldnt have dyno'd the an evo.

i've been going to intec, for a long time now. lawrance the owner is very Knowledgeable in tuning and building.
intec is on of the only shops who competed in D1 and formula D. building there own race cars.

i recomend them.
